Deputy Governor of Delta State Urges Christians to Prioritize God’s Work

ASABA/Nigeria: Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, has emphasized the importance of Christians making themselves readily available for the work of God during a recent visit by the Council of Knights, Diocese of Ndokwa, Anglican Communion.

The visit, which took place at Government House in Asaba, served as an opportunity for Sir Onyeme to address the council and express his views on the matter.

According to Sir Onyeme, individuals should not allow their job schedules to hinder them from carrying out the work of God. He urged Christians to contribute to the growth of Christianity, even when they are unable to physically participate, by finding ways to contribute their quota to the work of God.

Sir Onyeme highlighted the numerous benefits that can be derived from working for God and encouraged the Council of Knights to continue their efforts in contributing to the growth of the church.

During the visit, Dr. Dele Omenogor, representing the Knights, conveyed their congratulations to Sir Onyeme on his successful assumption of office as Deputy Governor. Additionally, Dr. Omenogor briefed Sir Onyeme about the activities of the Council of Knights, Diocese of Ndokwa, Anglican Communion. The presence of Sir Christopher Osakwe, Deputy Chief of Staff, Government House, Asaba, and Engr. Dan Ossai, Secretary of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, added significance to the courtesy call.
