Delta Speaker Mourns the Passing of Mrs. Pinapina Otuaro, Extends Condolences to Family
ASABA/Nigeria: The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has expressed profound sorrow and admiration for late Mrs. Pinapina Otuaro, matriarch of the Otuaro family from Oporoza Community in Gbaramatu Kingdom, Warri South West Local Government Area.
Mrs. Otuaro, who passed away on Wednesday, 12 February 2025, at the age of 87, was hailed by the Speaker as an extraordinary woman whose legacy will endure.
In a personal statement, Rt. Hon. Guwor conveyed his deepest condolences to the eldest child of the deceased, Deacon Kingsley Burutu Otuaro, the immediate past Deputy Governor of Delta State, describing the loss as a deeply saddening event. The Speaker shared his heartfelt sympathy with the Otuaro family, especially in this difficult time of mourning.
Speaking about Mrs. Otuaro, whom he affectionately called “Nene,” Guwor reflected on the vital role she had played in his life, noting that she had been a constant source of guidance and inspiration from his childhood to adulthood. He expressed how her wisdom, kindness, and generosity had left an indelible mark on him and many others.
Rt. Hon. Guwor emphasized the lasting impact Mrs. Otuaro had on the community, stating that her nurturing spirit and selfless contributions were instrumental in shaping many lives. He also recalled fond memories of her warmth, saying her legacy would remain an inspiration to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
On behalf of his family, the people of Warri South West, and the Delta State House of Assembly, the Speaker conveyed heartfelt condolences to the Otuaro family.
“My dear Boss, may you and your entire family find comfort in the knowledge that Nene will always be remembered and cherished by all whose lives she touched,” Guwor said. “Please accept my deepest sympathies, and I pray that God grants Nene eternal rest.”
