Delta Speaker Honoured with Public Service Award, Applauds Pointer Newspaper’s 30 Years of Dedication

ASABA/Nigeria: Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, has extended heartfelt appreciation to the Board, Management, and Staff of the Pointer Newspaper for presenting him with a “Certificate of Excellence in Public Service” award, an honour conferred as part of the state-owned media outlet’s 30th anniversary celebrations.

Attending the grand event organised by the Pointer Newspaper to mark its three-decade milestone, Hon Guwor described the award as a significant tribute not only to him but also to his constituents and the Delta State Legislature. The Speaker, who also serves as National Treasurer for the Conference of Speakers of State Houses of Assembly in Nigeria, expressed deep gratitude for the esteemed recognition.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Nkem Nwaeke, Hon Guwor remarked that the award symbolises his commitment to public service while reflecting the hard work of his colleagues and the Delta State House of Assembly team.
