Delta Rescue Mission Rallies Support Ahead of APC Stakeholders’ Meeting in Delta North
ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta Rescue Mission (DRM), a leading progressive platform in Delta State, has thrown its weight behind the January 30, 2025, stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders in Asaba. The meeting will bring together key party figures, including Senators Ovie Omo-Agege, Peter Nwaoboshi, and Hon. Friday Osanebi, alongside other notable leaders and party faithful.
In a statement signed by its Director-General, Sunday Onyewonsa, and Secretary, Rex Eririe, the DRM described the gathering as a “long-awaited opportunity to reengineer our political landscape and strategize for the future.” The group called on all lovers of good governance to attend the meeting, emphasizing its importance in shaping the APC’s trajectory toward the 2027 general elections.
The DRM also highlighted its extensive grassroots mobilization efforts since its inception in 2012, noting that the January 30 event would serve as the launchpad for renewed action against what it termed “decades of political mismanagement in Delta State.”
Urging widespread participation, the DRM declared, “The progressives in Delta State are determined to reclaim governance and ensure that the will of the people prevails in 2027. This meeting is just the beginning of that journey.”
