Delta Queens Management Congratulates Governor Okowa …Says Victory Will Give Delta Sports a Face Lift
ASABA/Nigeria: The Management of Delta Queens FC, Asaba, has joined the league of Deltans to congratulate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on what it termed a well deserved victory of Progress.
Making it’s view known through a Press Statement from the office of its Chief Executive Officer, Mrs Martha Ihedioha, The Delta Queens. FC Asaba said Governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa’s landslide victory in the just concluded gubernatorial election in Delta State has shown that indeed he is a man of the people.
The statement stressed the hope that Governor Okowa’s success story will further reflect on sports development in the number one sporting state in the federation, recalling his recent show of appreciation and motivation to successful athletes from the just concluded sports festival as well as his hospitality towards the Super Eagles.
The statement extols Governor Okowa as a number one sporting Governor who will further use the opportunity to consolidate on taking the state’s sporting community, Delta Queens FC, Asaba, inclusive, to the next celebrated glory level.
Expressing belief in the Tonobok Okowa led Sports Commission, The statement, further emphasized on the belief of Delran’s that the sports commission through the governor will continue to build on the gains of its SMART agenda in sports and other key areas of the economy in the next four years for a more robust socio-economic transformation of with more positives to show.
The management of Delta Queens through its CEO in the statement made available to the press from its media Officer Oris Esima-Aniretan, re-iterated the resolve of Delta Queens FC Asaba to continue in its efforts to better the lots of sporting achievements in the state with a productive representation of the state in the Nigeria Women Premier League ahead of a new league season.
It says the team is now set to support the Governor with action following a successful screening and overhauling of the team recently.
