Delta North Progressives Mobilize for Greater Political Visibility and Unity
ASABA/Nigeria: As the next electoral cycle approaches, the Delta North Senatorial District is rallying to secure a prominent role in shaping the future of the state’s politics. To achieve this, an influential group comprising professionals, politicians, and thought leaders has come together under the banner of the Delta North Progressives.
The group, representing all nine Local Government Areas within the district, is committed to fostering unity among the region’s political stakeholders while promoting the fundamental values of democracy. With a clear mandate, the Delta North Progressives aim to ensure the district is united, visible, and prepared to assert its political interests in the coming dispensation.
In a statement signed by the convener, Prof. Leroy Edozien, the group highlighted its ongoing efforts to engage prominent sons and daughters of Anioma. “We are working to build consensus and secure widespread support for our mission of fairness, equity, and progress for Delta North,” said Edozien.
The Delta North Progressives operate on a self-funded model, emphasizing their independence and commitment to the district’s collective interest. Through strategic sessions and proactive outreach, the group is positioning Delta North as a key player in the state’s political affairs.
