Delta NIPR Celebrates Lt Col Anele Onyinyechi’s Historic Appointment as First Female Acting Army Spokesperson

ASABA/Nigeria: The Delta State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has congratulated Lt Col Anele Onyinyechi Apollonia on her appointment as the first female Acting Director of Army Public Relations, describing it as a well-deserved milestone.
In a goodwill message on Thursday, the State Public Relations Officer of NIPR, Dr (Barr) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, hailed Lt Col Anele as a distinguished and active member of the Institute, noting that her appointment reflects her exceptional professionalism, skill, and dedication.
Dr Oghenesivbe, who also serves as the Director General of the Delta State Bureau for Communications and Orientation, said the State Chairman of the Institute, Godfrey Osakwe, and all members received the news of her elevation with immense joy. He emphasized that the leadership of the Nigerian Army, through this appointment, has demonstrated deep confidence in her capability, integrity, and competence to steer the Army’s public image without blemish.
“The Delta State chapter of NIPR celebrates a top-class professional colleague, Lt Col Anele Onyinyechi Apollonia. A golden fish has no hiding place,” Oghenesivbe said.
He added, “Your appointment as the first female Acting Director of Army Public Relations is a testament to your unwavering commitment and unconditional dedication to quality service to our great country, Nigeria.”
Dr Oghenesivbe expressed confidence that Lt Col Anele will excel in her new role and prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, and wisdom upon her. He also expressed excitement about the prospect of seeing her at the upcoming Nigeria Public Relations Week (NPRW) scheduled to hold in Uyo, from May 19-24, 2025.
