ASABA/Nigeria: In a show of goodwill and admiration, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State has extended heartfelt congratulations to Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, Chief Tom Ikimi, and Chief Patrick Ukah on the occasions of their respective birthdays.
Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, a renowned politician and businessman, marked his 66th birthday on April 10. Governor Oborevwori, in a statement released by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, commended Ogboru for his exceptional contributions to both the political and economic spheres of Delta State. The Governor praised Ogboru as a stalwart of development politics, a successful businessman, and a beloved figure among the Urhobo people.
Similarly, Governor Oborevwori celebrated Chief Tom Ikimi, an iconic architect and esteemed leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who turned 80 on the same day. Describing Ikimi as a top-tier political leader with impeccable leadership qualities, Governor Oborevwori highlighted Ikimi’s distinguished career in architecture, politics, and business, applauding his enduring legacy of service to the nation.
Chief Patrick Ukah, the former Secretary to the State Government and current Director-General of the State Capital Territory Development Agency, was also honored by Governor Oborevwori as he celebrated his 60th birthday on April 10. Recognizing Ukah’s prowess as a political strategist and a model administrator, Governor Oborevwori lauded Ukah’s significant contributions to the advancement of Delta State’s public service. Ukah had previously served as Commissioner for Information, Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, and Secretary to the State Government.
