Delta Community Lauds Warri North Leaders On Safety Along Waterways

KOKO/Nigeria: The Okifamba Community Youths Organisation from Ogbudugbudu Clan, Egbema Kingdom in Warri North Local Government Area, has lauded the efforts of council chairman Honourable Smart Asekutu, traditional rulers, chiefs, leaders of ex-agitators in ensuring safety along waterways in the area.
The waterways which were earlier besieged by miscreants in time past, presently enjoys relative peace and security.
Speaking on behalf of the youth body, the Okifamba Community Youth president, Comrade Clever Agbe, who is also a member of the newly inaugurated Association of Coastal Waterways Communities of Nigeria (ACWCN), said their efforts have ensured that the Niger Delta waterways are peaceful, calm and free from criminals and forms of evil.
“We duly acknowledged your efforts in ensuring that our waterways is safe for us and visitors who go about their daily activities”
“We also want to specially express our gratitude to High Chief Government Ekemupolo also known as ‘Tompolo father of the Niger Delta Youths’ for his collaborative effort with leaders from our area” he maintained.
Comrade Agbe added that the efforts of the leaders were indeed patriotic and urged Niger Delta youths to be supportive of the efforts of their leaders as regards peace and security, which according to him were nonnegotiable.
