DELTA 2023: Oyovbaire Says Delta Central Will Anchor its Drive on Dialogue, Appeal and Persuasion
EFFURUN/Nigeria: Prof Sam Oyovbaire has said that Delta Central will embark of three principles to be able to achieve its 2023 Governorship aspiration
According to the former Minister for Information, the three principles to be adopted are dialogue, appeal and persuasion to other senatorial districts.
Prof Oyovbaire said this on Saturday during the official inauguration/swearing-in of the Board of Trustees and National Executives of Delta Central 2023 (DC-23) at the PTI Conference Centre, Effurun in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.
On the vexed issue of power rotation, he stated that the ‘gentleman’ power rotation in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta state is anchored on the three senatorial districts in the state and not based on ethnicity.
He urged those still wavering in their decision to be part of DC-23 to quickly decide to join the group, which is a key driver for the actualisation of a governor from Delta Central.
