ASABA/Nigeria: The President and Editor-in-chief of Banner Communication Network, publishers of banneronlinenews.com, Chukwudi Abiandu, was formally inducted into the esteemed Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) on Friday, December 1, 2023. The induction, conducted via Zoom, witnessed a significant cohort of 327 new inductees taking the NIPR oath, affirming their commitment to professional and ethical standards within the realm of public relations.
A graduate of Mass Communication and also the Founder/Principal Consultant of Chukson Public Relations Consults, a firm of Public Relations Consultants, Deacon Abiandu participated in the induction proceedings alongside 326 other individuals, virtually affirming their allegiance to the ethos of the NIPR.
Distinguished members of the NIPR Council, including Prof. Dan Daura (FNIPR) and Prof. Oke Ikechukwu (FNIPR), graced the occasion. Prof. Ikechukwu, speaking on behalf of the vice chairman of the Council, extended warm congratulations to the new inductees on their entry into the esteemed fold of the NIPR.

Furthermore, he articulated the pivotal role of Public Relations practitioners in fostering national value reorientation and emphasized the imperative nature of promoting Nigerian products through the advocacy of locally made goods, underscoring the responsibility of practitioners in this regard.
