DBS Asaba and Delta Online Publishers Forum Forge Strategic Media Partnership
ASABA/Nigeria: Delta Broadcasting Service (DBS) Asaba and the Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) have committed to leveraging their respective strengths to promote each other and enhance media reach across the state.
This understanding was reached during a courtesy visit by a delegation of DOPF to the General Manager of DBS Asaba, Mrs Christine Jobome-Emetulu, at the station’s headquarters.
Mrs Jobome-Emetulu acknowledged the transformative impact of online platforms on the media landscape, noting that their rapid growth has significantly diminished the dominance of traditional print and electronic media.
“In response to this shift, DBS Asaba has subscribed to various social media platforms to broaden its reach and engage wider audiences online,” she said. She encouraged the Forum to support the station by amplifying its rich content through the credible platforms managed by DOPF members.
The General Manager reaffirmed DBS Asaba’s readiness to collaborate with the Forum and promised robust publicity for DOPF’s 2024 Annual Lecture Series, scheduled for Wednesday, 20th November.
Earlier, the Chairman of DOPF, Mr Emmanuel Enebeli, explained that the visit was aimed at exploring avenues for collaboration between the two media organisations, particularly in securing coverage for the Forum’s upcoming lecture series.
“Both DBS and DOPF possess unique strengths that, when combined, can yield mutually beneficial outcomes,” Mr Enebeli noted.
He assured the station’s management that the Forum was committed to offering substantial value through the partnership.
The partnership underscores a shared vision to enrich the media ecosystem in Delta State, bridging traditional and digital platforms to deliver impactful journalism.
