Cairo Ojuigbo Donates Electricity Transformer To Delta Community

AGBOR/Nigeria: A 500 KVA electricity transformer has been donated to Alihame Inwa Community in Agbor by Dr Cairo Ojuigboh, the Akinowa of Agbor Kingdom.

Presenting the transformer to the community during a brief ceremony which had the elders of the community in attendance as well as APC party faithful and well wishes, Dr Ojoiugboh, represented by one of his political aides, Hon Isaac Ulebor, said that the donor identified the great need of his people and had decided to donate the transformer in order to boost power supply in the area.

Dr Cairo Ojoiugboh called for the support of the people in his political careers so that he could continue to attract more dividends of democracy to the area, adding that he had also donated two 500KVA transformers in the past to the community which had since been installed and serving the people very well.

Receiving the transformer on behalf of the community, Mr Fidelis Ojeme,  said that one of the major problems of the area had been epileptic electricity supply, occasioned by the over loading of the only existing transformer in the area and that  they had  been pleading with  the state government and other relevant. Agencies and individuals for help.

He expressed joy that God had started answering their prayers through the donation which, he said, improve power supply to the community.

He reiterated the need for more of such transformers and other amenities in the community because of its rapid development, especially with the elevation of the College of Education in Agbor to a university status.

He thanked the donor and prayed God to continue to bless him and urged the people of Alihame to always support him whenever he called on them.

Also speaking at the occasion, Elder Moses Nwakor, APC Chairman in Ika South Local Government Area, appreciated the donor for listening to the plea of the people, explaining that it was good to give back to the society when God blesses someone.

He advised the people to safeguard the transformer from thieves and vandals, adding that it should not be left for only the members of the vigilante group to protect but the entire people.

He pleaded with the donor to also extend the gesture to other parts of Ika South Local Government in dire need of power supply and infrastructure.
