Be Agents of Transformation, Monarch Tells Youths

UMUNEDE/Nigeria: The Obi of Umunede in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, His Royal Majesty, Ezeagwu Ezenwali JP, has enjoined youths in the locality to continue to be agents of transformation.

Obi Ezeagwu Ezenwali stated this during the inauguration of the  Umunede Youth Association (UYA), Agbor Branch,  at Boji Boji Owa.

The Monarch, who was represented by Chief Amos Onyeagwu, described the event as historical, saying that he was happy that the Umunede youth group was inaugurated in Agbor.

While promising to continue to support the group, he charged the youths to work assiduously towards the advancement of the group and Umunede kingdom.

Speaking further, he enjoined them to eschew any act inimical in the development of the members of the group and the society in general.

Also speaking, the President General of Umunede Progressive Union (UPU), Mr. Anthony Ngozi, while congratulating the leaders of the association, said that youths remained the life wire of any society.

“Be up and doing, keep working together and stand up for what  will lead to overall growth of the people,” he advised.

Earlier in his remarks, the Chairman of the association, Agbor branch, Mr. Tony Eboh, noted that the association came of the selfless efforts of some youths in the community.

“Our mission remains to have a sense of belonging, seek ways of empowering one another and impact our community positively,” he said.

Continuing, Mr. Eboh noted that indigenes of Umunede Kingdom remained almost the most blessed people in Ika land, describing HRM, Obi Ezeagwu Ezenwali as dynamic king that had great regards for his subjects.
