EKPOMA/Nigeria: The Delta State Head of Service (HOS), Mr. Reginald Bayoko has described former Vice Chancellor of Ambrose Alli University, late Prof. E. A Osemeikhain as a renowned educationist whose legacies and accomplishments in the education industry as commendable.
Bayoko stated this at Ekpoma, Edo State during commendation service in honour of the deceased.
The HOS, who was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Delta State Post Primary Education Board (PPEB), Mr. Augustine Chukwuma said that the deceased contributed immensely in the area of human development.
He said that the late University administrator was a disciplinarian, humble and kindhearted,adding that he would be remembered for his inspiring efforts in nation building.
While urging his family and the university community to take solace in the fact that the deceased lived fulfilled life, Bayoko enjoined them to sustain towering legacies even as he prayed God to give his family the heart to bear the lost.
Meanwhile, the Permanent Secretary, Delta State Post Primary Education Board (PPEB), Mr. Augustine Chukwuma has stressed the need for teachers in the state to redouble their commitments to duty for the benefits of the students’ academic growth.
Chukwuma, who gave the advice in Asaba while fielding questions from newsmen also urged them to shun negative acts capable of portraying their profession in bad light.
The PPEB Permanent Secretary commended Senator (Dr. ) Ifeanyi Okowa for redefining the education system in the state through effective upgrade of facilities in public schools just as he lauded him for building a befitting Secretariat for civil servants.
