Azuka Enebeli Highlights the Importance of Continuing the Progress Made by the Immediate Past Deputy Speaker, Congratulates Chukwudi Dafe
ASABA/Nigeria: The representative of Ukwuani on the Board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, Surv. Azuka Enebeli has expressed his congratulations to Hon. Chukwudi Dafe, the newly inaugurated member representing Ukwuani in the State House of Assembly.
Enebeli conveyed his congratulations at the side of the inauguration of the new Assembly members on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, in Asaba.
According to him, the inauguration as a member of the state Assembly is a well-deserved one and should be celebrated.
“I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you, Odogwu Ukwuani, on your well-deserved inauguration as the representative of Ukwuani in the State Assembly, under the platform of our esteemed party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).”
He expressed his gratitude to God for blessing Ukwuani with a legislator like Hon. Chukwudi Dafe, emphasizing Dafe’s previous experience as a two-time local government chairman and his outstanding track record, will bring numerous benefits to the entire Ukwuani community.
Speaking about the former Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Ochor Ochor, who represented Ukwuani in the 7th Assembly, Enebeli praised his eloquence and dedication to addressing urgent matters concerning Ukwuani communities on the Assembly floor.
He described Ochor as a man of unquestionable integrity who never misappropriated public funds or diverted projects for personal gain, earning him a respected position among the people.
Enebeli highlighted some of Ochor’s accomplishments, including impactful legislation, empowerment initiatives, facilitation of employment opportunities, and various infrastructural developments within the local government. He urged the new lawmaker to learn from Ochor’s example in order to effectively carry out his legislative duties.
Furthermore, Enebeli appealed for collaboration between the new State House of Assembly member, the Member, and the DESOPADEC board representative to attract the M.O.R.E agenda of the government led by Governor SHERRIF to Ukwuani communities.
