AU Agenda 2063 Ambassador Lauds Oghenesivbe’s Appointment as Delta State Orientation Bureau DG
ASABA/Nigeria: Dr. Leonard Oghenetega Obie, a prominent Ambassador of the African Union Agenda 2063 and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information and Strategy Management (CIISM), has hailed the appointment of Dr. (Barr.) Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe as the new Director General of the Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau. Describing him as a top-class professional and communication scholar of high repute, Dr. Obie expressed confidence in Oghenesivbe’s ability to excel in his new role.
In a goodwill message delivered on Saturday, Dr. Obie highlighted the wealth of experience that Dr. Oghenesivbe brings to the Bureau, citing his nearly decade-long track record in public service. He emphasized that Oghenesivbe’s expertise would be instrumental in fulfilling the Bureau’s mandate, ensuring effective communication and orientation across the state.
Dr. Obie also extended his gratitude to Delta State Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff F. O. Oborevwori for making what he described as a “fantastic choice” in appointing Dr. Oghenesivbe. He urged the governor to continue his commendable efforts in socioeconomic and infrastructure development throughout the state.
“With Dr. Latimore Oghenesivbe at the helm of the Delta State Orientation and Communications Bureau, we can expect new innovations, creativity, and a significant boost in productivity that will project Governor Oborevwori’s remarkable performance, particularly in advancing the state through his MORE Agenda,” Ambassador Obie stated.

Dr. Fred Latimore Oghenesivbe, a distinguished Fellow of CIISM, also serves as the Chief Coordinator of the South-South Geopolitical Zone of the Institute. He is a full member of the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) and the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN), among other prestigious affiliations.
