Arewa Community Udu Chapter’s Heartwarming Gesture Boosts Safety Efforts in Delta State

OVWIAN-ALADJA/Nigeria: In a heartwarming display of solidarity, members of the Arewa community Udu chapter have generously contributed to the safety efforts of Ovwian/Aladja police division, the Burutu Area Command headquarters, and the Federal Road Safety Corps in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State.

Led by Chairman Mustapha Suleman, the group presented a total of 106 reflective jackets to the FRSC, Ovwian/Aladja police Station, and the Burutu Area Command on Monday, October 2, 2023.

Chairman Suleman emphasized that this gesture aims to provide vital assistance to both the police and the FRSC in the execution of their duties, while also expressing gratitude for their unwavering dedication to reducing crime and traffic congestion in Udu Local Government area.

CSP Bulus Musa of Ovwian/Aladja police Station and ACP Anche Joseph of the Burutu Area Command graciously received the reflective jackets on behalf of their teams.

They assured the Arewa community of their intent to deploy the jackets not only during traffic sessions but also for night patrols.

DG Duguma Kpasha, Assistant Commander of the Udu unit, commended the Arewa community for their thoughtful donation, highlighting its significance in acknowledging and appreciating the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).

He also urged community leaders to encourage tricycle riders to exercise caution and adhere to safety regulations.

Kpasha affirmed that this generous act will serve as motivation for continued collaboration, ensuring the safety and well-being of all community members.

He further assured that the FRSC stands ready to cooperate with the community in upholding safety standards.
