Hon Ochor Christopher Ochor, the Immediate past Deputy Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the entire Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) family on the affirmation of the March 18, 2023, gubernatorial election results by the Lagos Appeal Court.
“This affirmation by the Lagos Appeal Court stands as a testament to the unyielding faith our people have placed in Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).”
“We are immensely grateful to God for this resounding triumph,” expressed Rt. Hon Ochor Christopher Ochor in a press statement on Saturday, November 25, 2023.
He stated that beyond celebrating the political victory, he called for unity and collaboration among all stakeholders in Delta State, as he tasked the opposition leaders, Ovie Omo Agege of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), and Ken Pella of the Labour Party (LP), to set aside differences and unite efforts for the progress of the state.
“In the spirit of collective progress and development, I urge all oppositions to channel their resources and talents towards the common goal of advancing Delta State’s growth. Now is the time to set aside political differences for the greater good,” He emphasized.
He stated that Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration echoes this sentiment, welcoming the participation and contributions of all stakeholders, emphasizing inclusivity in the pursuit of meaningful development and the enhancement of citizens’ welfare.
“Let us work hand in hand, leveraging the collective strength and talents of all stakeholders, to build a more vibrant and prosperous Delta State,” he remarked.

This call for unity extends as an open invitation to opposition leaders to join forces with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s administration, emphasizing the need to set aside differences to craft a future that embodies the aspirations and dreams of all Delta State residents.
