Anioma State: Senator Ned Munir Nwoko On The Path Of Historical Stardom!

Indeed, _echi_ _d’ime_, as declared by Austine Eneduwa-George, a worthy Anioma son.

But, if there are Igbo that regard others as lesser Igbo, they are very few and far apart, maybe arising out of the divide-and-rule policies of outsiders to tear the Igbo into weakened pieces. Otherwise, no truly enlightened and civilized Igbo involves self with such suicidal, seemingly paid propagation.

Majority of Igbo, from Anioma, across the centre, down to Rivers, know themselves as Igbo and are proud of their Igbo identity, but the biased press using sometimes self-employed malcontents usually emphasize those preoccupied with dividing and messing up the Igbo from within. The script they are acting nobody can tell. They failed woefully in the past and are again failing in the Anioma issue with their illogical and meaningless diatribes against the legitimate aspirations of their own peoples. They are totally on the wrong side of history, and shall certainly regret it.

They curiously draw people back into the exhausted “argument” of Anioma not right to be part of “Southeast,” when it had already been declared that an Anioma state can be anywhere they like. They shift to Ned Munir Nwoko’s lack of the angelic credentials to pursue an Anioma cause, whereas they were all along free to deploy their own angelic attributes to give Anioma their state, without having to wait all these years and decades for a Ned Munir Nwoko to take up the challenge.

Or, is it that they don’t want Anioma state at all; then, that’s a legitimate aspiration that awaits an Anioma referendum, not an issue of acrimony. After all not every Nigerian wanted Nigeria to be free in 1960.

Distinguished Senator Ned Munir Nwoko’s name will forever be enshrined in gold in the hearts of the Anioma and general Igbo nation if he successfully pulls through the Anioma quest, and that the overwhelming opinion is already on his side signposts the victory that is at hand!

Every side would benefit, both the new Anioma and the rump Delta state, by the creation of an Anioma state, for the radius of development would be expanded on both sides. It would be win-win for everyone. This would not deprive anyone of his Bini, Yoruba, Itsekiri, Ijaw, Igala ancestry, after all there are countless Igbo derived parts of every ethnic group south of Niger-Benue; we are all part of same country, but would exponentially multiply the great Anioma peoples’ developmental and civilizational capacity, hence its overwhelming popularity!!

Thanks greatly, Mr. Austine Eneduwa-George.
