Angozi Tasks Nigerians To Love Their Neighbour
WARRI/Nigeria: A former Governorship Aspirants and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Braduce Angozi had called on Nigerians to show love to their fellow citizens as they celebrate the Birth of Jesus Christ.
The former Aspirant and one-time Commissioner in Delta State made the call in his Christmas message on Saturday, December 24, 2022.
Chief Angozi said love is essential, especially when the Chief celebrant of Christmas, was a love sent to redeem mankind, and on this, man should never wish it away, but rather cultivate the culture of love through spiritual mind cleansing this Christmas.
He reminded Nigerians, that love is much needed in the country today, and ever, especially with the coming 2023 General Elections, and the country needs nothing else now, but good relationships among its citizens.
“As we celebrate this Christmas, I call on you to eschew bitterness and hatred but cultivate the act of love. Let us reflect more on the spiritual aspect of this great feast, knowing that the chief celebrant, our Lord Jesus Christ, is love.”
“Love is needed more now in our nation, especially as we go into 2023, and into an election, we need it to heal our hearts of any form of hatred and bitterness. Love builds good relationships, and that is what we need now, more than anything else.” He said.
He further stated that while they are celebrating, they should also be security conscious as many had turned what is to be a peaceful and loving period of the year, to constitute evil against their friends and neighbours.
