Amb. Ese Emadifie Hosts Delta Central Media Aides, Appointees
EFFURUN/Nigeria: Ambassador Ese J. Emadifie, popularly known as Chief Sir Dante, hosted Delta Central Media Aides to the Governor of Delta State and other government appointees to a lavish get-together at Ben Vido Hotel, Effurun. The gathering provided a platform to discuss critical matters concerning the administration’s MORE Agenda and foster collaboration.
Amb. Ese, a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor and Coordinator of Delta Central Media Aides, as well as Director General of the ongoing MORE Agenda sensitization tour, opened the event by expressing gratitude to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for entrusting them with advancing the state. He praised the Commissioner for Information, the Chief Press Secretary, and all media aides for their efforts in promoting the administration’s agenda throughout 2024.
Acknowledging the media aides’ contributions, Amb. Ese commended their achievements and called for greater unity among appointees across different portfolios. He emphasized that every appointee is an ambassador of the MORE Agenda, regardless of their role, and urged them to share ideas, support one another, and innovate to counter misinformation and political blackmail.
Appointed Aides to the Delta State Governor after the Event
“I am super proud to be your colleague. I have learned a lot from you all since my appointment. We should always share ideas and support each other’s strengths and weaknesses. That is the only way we can deliver effectively and make our bosses and the entire state proud,” he said.
He also extended appreciation to appointees from various sectors, including Special Duties, Environment, Youth Development, Community Development, and Mass Mobilization, for their commitment to realizing the governor’s vision through teamwork and harmony.
Several prominent appointees and special guests contributed to the discussions, including Hon. Kingsley Oborevwori (SSA, Community Development), Mr. Dennis Otu (SSA, Media), Hon. Kingsley Abugewa (SSA, Community Development), and Eng. Richard Sadjere, among others. They shared their experiences and challenges in executing their responsibilities in 2024, highlighting the importance of collaboration and innovative communication strategies.
The gathering, which featured plenty of food, drinks, and camaraderie, transitioned into a lively celebration, with appointees using the occasion to strengthen bonds and recharge for the tasks ahead. It was described as a much-needed event to boost performance and morale among the state’s appointees.
