A Peep Into Gov. Oborevwori’s MORE Revolution (OPINION)
By Palmer Ogheneyole Nathaniel
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has within a period of just a year performed the groundbreaking infrastructural revolution in Warri and its environs. The ongoing massive road construction is nothing short of extraordinary, transforming the city into a modern hub that reflects the vision of progress and development.
In just one year, the Governor has achieved what many thought was impossible. Roads that were once in dire disrepair have been revamped and reconstructed to world-class standards. The bulldozers have continued to roar both day and night, with every part of the metropolis and environ a busy construction site. The extent of this transformation is so profound that Warri residents who have been away for just a year now struggle to recognize their routes, with some unable to locate their homes due to the infrastructural overhaul.
Our government in its usual show of care for the people is excited to provide phone numbers for residents to call in case they lose their way while navigating these newly redefined roads. This is a testament to the attention to details and the human-centered approach the Governor has employed in this project.
This aggressiveness is not common to Warri alone, but crisscrossing the 3 Senatorial districts. Isoko people in Delta South are smiling so deeply, ditto to the Ukwanis in Delta Delta North. More interestingly, the Governor has achieved this feat without borrowing a penny from anywhere neither has any contractor complained of been owed, as certificates are promptly attended to upon issuance.
His Excellency is not only building roads and gigantic flyovers and other infrastructures; but also restoring the pride of Warri as the economic hub and cash cow of the state. He is renewing hope for the people and inspiring a new era of prosperity.
Deltans are appreciative of his dedication and commitment to ensuring a brighter future for all. He has proven to be the street, the Governor for the common Deltan. The people of Warri and indeed Delta State salute you!
